revamping of defunct hospitals

The MP Office identified and mapped defunct hospitals and transformed them into operational hospitals.

  1. Mahabodhi Mallige Hospital, Siddapura – This hospital has been non-functional for the last eight years. With the intervention of the MP, the hospital was revamped into a 100-bed facility within 10 days. Presently, the hospital is catering to about 50 patients. In less than no time, it will accommodate an additional 50 patients.
  2. Garden City Hospital, Jayanagar – This hospital has been inoperative for two years. The hospital was taken up for restoration. In a matter of few days, this project was complete and the hospital is equipped to serve 70 patients with 10 ICU beds and 10 HDU beds.
  3. KSRTC Hospital, Jayanagar – The hospital, located in Jayanagar 4th T Block, was lying unused. It was given a complete overhaul and transformed into a functional hospital supporting more than 50 oxygen beds. It is also being made into a special pediatric care unit.
  4. Jayanagar General Hospital – To meet the needs of critical patients and to help as many patients as possible, the Jayanagar General hospital was equipped with 20+ ICU beds & 30+ pediatric ICU beds.
